Math teacher at Paris High
I am recently retired from Paris High School.
I am definitely a blessed man…I love my wife (married for over 50 years) Sandy...all of my family...my church...my former students...and most of all, my Lord!
I approach the idea of being an elder with great caution and care because I am humbled to serve in that capacity, yet I know that I must constantly hear from the Lord to know what that responsibility would require of me. I want to make sure that CCC is used by the Lord to serve the people that He brings through our front door. It is a privilege to serve as an elder in the church.
Mike also teaches the Adult Sunday School class each week.
Teacher at Paris High
I serve Paris ISD as the Transition coordinator. I give guidance to students, and help them determine what they want to do next after graduating: college, career, etc.
I Love spending time with my wife and kids: Tish, Brody, and Lindsey.
I also love to sing, bowl, and play golf.
I consider it an honor and privilege of serving as an Elder of Christ Community Church. I love my church.
Clint also sings on the Worship Team, and co-teaches a preschool – Kindergarten Sunday School class with his wife Tish.
Principal at Travis High School
I have worked for Paris ISD for 21 years and have been in admin for the last 15.
I have two children Kaleb and Abby. Kaleb graduated Paris High in 2018 and will be attending PJC and Abby is a sophomore at Paris High School.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy hiking, kayaking, hunting and fishing and most things outdoors. I also like to play and watch most sports.
As an Elder it gives me the opportunity to serve the church in many different ways, and it is a blessing to be able to serve Christ anywhere He puts me. One of my greatest passions is working with and serving youth.
Stephen teaches Jr. High / H.S. Sunday School and also Youth on Wednesday nights.
Lieutenant for the
Paris Police Department
I am a Lieutenant for the Paris Police Department, where I have been employed for over 13 years, and consider it a privilege to serve my community as a Patrol Supervisor. I very much enjoy being a peace officer, and the opportunity to meet, connect with, and serve members of our community that come along with the job.
I am blessed much more than I deserve to have been married for over 22 years to my high school sweetheart, Maggie, and to be a father to our three children, Jakob, Annalise, and Lorelei. As a family, we enjoy traveling, specifically road tripping, all over the USA.
One of our favorite places to visit is the Pacific Northwest, especially along the Oregon coast.
I enjoy doing just about anything that involves spending time outdoors, especially hiking, and enjoying the absolute beauty of God’s creation in nature.
We have been members of Christ Community Church for about 10 years now. I am humbled and honored to have been chosen as a recent addition to the team of elders for our church. I love The Lord and am eager to serve in whatever ways He would have me to. I also love music, and have the pleasure of serving on our praise & worship team. I truly embrace the mission to “Know Him more fully, and make Him more fully known."
Pastor of Christ Community Church
I have been pastor of CCC since the church began in 1997, and I continue to humbly consider it an honor, a privilege, a calling. I am blessed with a wonderful family; and I am husband to Lea Ann, father to Lindsey, Ryan (and his wife Taylor) & "Papa" to Emma Jane & Rowan.
In addition to my role as pastor, I also serve as a part of the Elder Team. I also consider it an honor and privilege to serve as the Chaplain for the Lamar County Sherriff’s Office, and I love the opportunities The Lord has given me with jail/prison ministry. I have many hobbies – but I am most passionate about cycling, and all things AGGIE.
I have served on the CCC worship team for over 18 years, and I am amazed at how God continually blesses this church with a team of incredible talent and heart. It is an honor to be used by the Lord in leading our team. I am also privileged to serve our CCC family as the office admin.
My husband, Johnny, and I are blessed with three amazing children: Jade, Caedon, and Camdyn. I love family time together.
I have been a public school educator for over 15 years, but I've recently changed "classrooms." I am the owner of LaDonna Davis Voice Studio where I give individual lessons, conduct the "Sing, Paris!" youth choir, and am a licensed Musikgarten teacher. I also lead worship and/or speak when given the opportunity for women's retreats or conferences.
